As I look back on my work, I see the theme that God was weaving, although at the time I wasn’t even aware of it. It is a theme of perseverance and hope for women who are struggling with the trials of life and the calling of God.

All of these are true stories of women facing challenges and, through the grace of God, rising to meet them. The first book is my own story.  It tells of how my parents, sister-in-law, siblings, and I faced the loss of a son, a husband, and a brother--my brother Dana who died in a tragic accident at the young age of 26. I am blessed that our story has been able to help others-- especially others of faith--deal with the raw, deep, real, and highly personal emotions of grief.
